Here is a list of suggested items to donate to your local volunteer fire departments

1. Suggested items to donate: Snacks and drinks.
a. Beef Jerky
b. Bottled Water
c. Powder or Gatorade
d. Powder or Gatorade single pouch powder
e. Peanut butter or cheese crackers
f. Granola bars or energy bars
g. Paper goods (paper plates, napkins, utensils, cups)
h. Canned goods (some departments have kitchens)
J. Coffee ,Tea.

2. Hygiene is a must. Suggested items to donate:
a. Baby wipes
b. Eye drops
c. Lip balm or chap stick
d. Paper towels
e. Kleenex
f. Toilet paper
g. Trash bags
h. Baggies
I. Towels
J. Ice
k. Ice chest
l. some departments need Tents to be out of the sun
m. Sunscreen
n. Socks
m. Foot powder
n. Gloves

3. Donations help!! Most volunteer FD budgets are not huge, so any money helps the up-keep of the equipment, buying of items for the trucks, or even going towards a new truck or apparatus.
