Shimira was last seen in Youngstown, Ohio on July 8, 2019 and is registered as a missing juvenile with the Youngstown Police Department. Law enforcement officials are worried about Shimira and are reaching out on digital media to help bring her home safely. Shimira is described as a black female with brown hair and brown eyes, 5’10” tall, and weighing 260 pounds. A last seen clothing description was not available at this time.

Tattoos: “Emily” on left wrist, “Operation Enduring Freedom” on right arm, four-leaf clover on stomach, multiple other tattoos

Chris was picked up by a friend at his father’s home on the south side of Columbus (Obetz, Ohio area). He was wearing a gray shirt and gray sweatpants and had his black backpack with him. He was expected to return home that evening. He had an appointment with the VA on Monday, July 1st in Cincinnati, Ohio. He did not return and has not been heard from since. Chris left his suitcase and all important papers at his father’s home. The vehicle that picked him up was a small vehicle, possibly a light red Ford Focus with a donut on the passenger tire.

OHIO MISSING PERSONS DAY – Sunday, July 14 from 1-4 p.m.

The Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation invites the public, law enforcement officers and families who have missing loved ones to gather at a free event to remember Ohio’s missing persons. The event is planned to bring awareness to missing and unidentified persons cases in Ohio. Families with missing loved ones should plan to
meet with law enforcement officers and/or analysts and bring police reports, photos of their loved ones, dental records/X-rays, and any additional information they wish to share.

The event will offer:
•The latest technology being used to solve missing persons cases.
• DNA collection from families of the missing for Project LINK.
• Opportunities to ask law enforcement and the coroner’s office
for assistance on cases.
•Facial reconstructions of unidentified persons.
•Crisis support for families of missing persons.
•Information on human trafficking.
•Child fingerprint cards.
•A candlelight vigil for the missing.
•A remembrance garden.
